Food from the soul

The location at 1515 Ottawa Street in Windsor, Ontario was once home to Smoke & Spice Southern Barbeque. Owners Ryan and Tina Odette opened the barbeque joint in September of 2008. By mid-2011, the space didn't seem large enough for the number of guests that wanted to visit some nights. Smoke & Spice moved to 7470 Tecumseh Road East in January of 2012.

Having been quite fond of the location on Ottawa Street, the couple decided to keep it, and come up with another restaurant concept. Though the barbeque enabled them to explore a cuisine they loved, Sweet T's Soul Cookin' will allow for them to explore another favourite...but Sweet T's isn't just about great fried chicken.

The new restaurant will also afford Ryan Odette the opportunity to do some of the fare he became so fond of while living and working in New Orleans, Louisiana. The menu may even change a little from time to time, but don't worry...we'll keep making great fried chicken!
